First West Credit Union and their individual company brands required a direct mail piece to drive new and existing customers to their Referral Perks® website program and to gain new quality referrals. Plus, the piece needed to stand out during the holiday period and there was appetite for more engaging piece than previous years postcard. Key Objective was to drive the target to the Referral Perks® website to make quality referrals.
We designed this single printed page, direct mail piece which used the unique shape and bright clean brand colours and design. With the most mail boxes being busy at the holiday time of year we took the simple, clean and direct message approach. The Santa concept was chosen for its cost per piece and the simplicity of the message. It increased referrals by around 80% of referral activations. This piece also won a 2016 AIME award for direct marketing with the Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU)
